LEA Survey on Professional Learning Funded by the Charter Schools Program Grant
Overview
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) received a five-year, $24.2 million Charter Schools Program (CSP) grant from the US Department of Education on Oct. 1, 2020. In addition to providing financial support to new, replicating and expanding charter local education agencies (LEAs), OSSE will also use funding from this grant to provide professional learning opportunities to all charter LEAs between October 2022 and September 2025.
The purpose of this survey is to obtain direct input from LEAs regarding which professional learning topics are highest priority. This will help OSSE’s CSP team plan professional learning for the 2022-23 school year. Since the needs and priorities of LEAs may shift over time, OSSE anticipates administering the survey annually.
This survey is geared toward leaders of charter LEAs. Please limit submissions to one per LEA and complete the survey by Friday, Aug. 26. Thank you for taking the time to provide your invaluable feedback! For questions about the survey or the CSP grant, please contact OPCSFS.Funding@dc.gov.
