Porsche 914 LED Fog Light Bulb Survey Question Title * 1. Are you aware that fog & accessory driving lights are not regulated by the DOT under FMVSS section 108 and therefore legal for on-road use, but that they may be regulated by state regulations with regard to quantity and light output? YES, I'm very well informed with all things automotive! NO, what's DOT, what's FMVSS??? NOT SURE, I've heard people talk but don't know enough about it. Question Title * 2. Would you be interested in purchasing plug and play LED fog light bulbs for your existing Bosch fog/driving lamp housings? YES, it would be nice to have accessory lights that are actually useful! NO, I don't want those blinding LED things in my car! MAYBE, but ya have to prove they work! Question Title * 3. Assuming you have CLEAR TN-2 or TN-4 lenses what color light would you prefer? Classic 2700K-3000K mellow yellow baby! Crisp 5500K-6500K bright white! 8000K+ baby blue, I want to be just like the JDM group! Question Title * 4. What would you be willing to spend for a quality set of (2) LED fog light bulbs? Less than $40, I pinch every penny and like to buy Amazon and eBay junk, so just make them as cheap as possible. $40-$70, I'm not rich but I expect them to be pretty good for my hard earned money. $70-$100, I like quality so make them really good & dependable. $100-$160, I'm a high roller so gold plate everything and make them last forever! Question Title * 5. How important is it to you to know the bulbs are designed and QA tested in the USA and will be labeled with lot code identifiers to ensure quality standards are met by the overseas production plant? VERY, I like that they're designed in the US, and I don't trust anybody, so please check! SOMEWHAT, they're probably fine, designing is all the same and automated manufacturing is good these days, right? NONE, I don't care who designed them and I trust that the factory built them right, I don't believe that anyone would ever tell a fib. Question Title * 6. Where would you prefer to buy the bulbs from? Only Amazon, cause everything I own is PRIME and is delivered by drones within 15 minutes! Only a dedicated Webstore, because I don't like supporting Lex Luther as he continues to build his space rocket fleet! An Established Porsche Aftermarket store, I already have my credit card info saved on their site and don't remember my 4 digit secret code. Anywhere, I don't care as long as I get my stuff! Question Title * 7. What kind of Warranty term would you expect? 90 Days, I'm a gambler and I like to live life on the edge! 1 YEAR, that's good enough for me! 2 to 3 YEARS, that sounds long enough. LIFETIME, I don't even know what it means anymore with the small legal print, but forever sounds cool and gives me the warm and fuzzies! Question Title * 8. In the event you get a defective product, how should the warranty process work? You send in your old bulb, then wait patiently by your mailbox with your one eyed pirate car til we process your return and ship the replacement (arrrrrrrr, pirates are cool again in 2022, right?). We send you a replacement bulb and you get to destroy the old one (smashy slashy so have fun!), you then take a photo and upload it to our site showing the ID tag and the destroyed bulb, but remember No Photo = you pay for the replacement. We send you a replacement and you send the old bulb back to us with a pre-paid shipping label (this may assist in QA root cause analysis activities), but remember No Return = you pay for the replacement. Question Title * 9. Would you be willing to supply your car for up to a full day in So-Cal so an instructional video can be made in exchange for FREE bulbs/lights? YES, sign me up, I love FREE stuff and will drop it off, do it all for me! SURE, but don't touch my baby, I'll bring my car but install the FREE stuff myself. I'LL PASS, I don't want any FREE stuff and it isn't worth my time! NO WAY, you're way too far from me and gas is too expensive. Question Title * 10. How long of a video on installation and aiming of the bulb and housing would you be willing to watch? <2 MINUTES, I have the attention span of a gnat and just need the gist because I like to be confused, my favorite tool is a hammer. 2 TO 5 MINUTES, I get distracted easily and just need the main points, I don't need any help and can figure it out,... WAIT is that a squirrel! 5 TO 10 MINUTES, you better keep it to the point and don't waste my time, but I want some meat on the bone so I don't get surprised. >10 MINUTES, I have nothing to do on my weekend so watching a long boring video detailing every single tiny detail sounds like fun, afterwards I'll binge watch all my family home videos.
