The Commission on Cancer (CoC) Cancer Liaison Program Outstanding Performance Award recognizes outstanding performance by Cancer Liaison Physicians (CLPs) in their role as the physician quality leaders of their cancer programs. To nominate a CLP please answer each of the following questions and submit by June 5, 2024. The CoC State Chair CLP Education Advisory Group will choose the winners by August 2024.

Previous CLP Award winners may not be nominated. Cancer care teams from the same institution are encouraged to submit one entry per CLP that combines input from all nominators.

The best CLP nominations give detailed examples of how the nominee exceeds in their role as the physician quality leader of their CoC-accredited cancer program’s cancer committee. The successful 2023 CLP Outstanding Performance Award nominations described clearly how their CLPs excelled in these areas below and can be accessed here.
