Have Your Say - Roads Asset Management Plan

Buloke Shire Council is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Road Management Plan in close consultation with the Buloke Shire community.

The Road Management Plan delivers a considered and planned approach to the operational management of all Buloke-owned roads. Through the community consultation presentation sessions, we will gain input and feedback into the current management of the roads in Buloke, and use this information to optimise future expenditure, while also matching communities expectation of service.

The purpose of community consultation is to assist Council in determining appropriate standards, issues and expectations of roads in regard to:

  • Accessibility
  • Support for existing and emerging industries
  • Road Safety
  • Responsiveness (By Council)
  • Quality (Appearance, ride quality, etc)
  • Environmental issues (e.g., health of roadside vegetation and waterways)
