Although we will livestream all High Holy Day services to the MJC website, with the livestream accessible to all members and their extended families, we are also planning to offer a limited number of seats for in-person services. Strict adherence to New York State's mandatory guidelines on religious services will significantly reduce our seating to a small percentage of our usual capacity.

Accordingly, it is our goal to accommodate member families who wish to attend with up to two seats to at least one in-person service during the holidays. Individual members will be offered a lottery opportunity for one seat. Accommodations will be determined by a random-draw lottery and because all seats will be pre-assigned by lottery, we will not be able to place anyone in their "usual seats." Kindly note that for reasons of health and safety, children below Bat/Bar Mitzvah age will not be permitted in the Sanctuary for High Holy Day services.

Please refer to the High Holidays Seat Allocation Process document and the Guide to Re-Entry to the MJC available on our website for details about the lottery process and the strict rules of entry to the building so that you understand fully your request for in-person tickets.

Please fill out this form very carefully, as your answers will be used to fulfill requests during the random-draw process, and submit no later than August 10. Please submit only one form per member family.

Please be advised that the ability to open the Synagogue for the High Holidays is subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control.

We are grateful for your patience and understanding during these very trying times and look forward to a spiritually engaging set of services despite the extraordinary challenges.

KINDLY COMPLETE THIS FORM WHETHER YOU ARE REQUESTING SEATS IN THE SANCTUARY OR PLAN TO VIEW THE LIVESTREAM OF SERVICES FROM HOME.
