Limestone Coast Bridges and Drains Impact Survey
Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a partnership between the Australian, State and Local Governments, to enhance the growth and strengthen the regional communities of Australia.
The South Eastern Water Conservation and Drainage Board (SEWCDB) manages over 2600 kilometres of drains that includes nearly 3,000 structures including over 320 bridges, 1700 pre cast box culvert or pipe crossings plus 320 control structures (regulators and drop weirs).
An efficient road transport system is critical to the economic and social fabric of the Limestone Coast. Bridges and crossings provide access for residents, businesses and primary producers in an area interconnected by the South East Drainage Network.
In conjunction with the SEWCDB, RDA Limestone Coast (RDALC) is seeking to determine the social and economic impacts related to the bridges and drainage network in the Limestone Coast.
Your participation in this confidential survey will support the SEWCDB's business case in their pursuit of funding for the improvement, upgrades and maintenance of the bridge and drain network.
All information provided by survey participants will be treated in confidence.
