Catholic Charities recently announced the acquisition of Augustana Health Care Center facility (1007 E 14th St) to provide homes and respite care to 200 people as well as a storefront Healthcare for the Homeless clinic.

It is unprecedented for the Elliot Park community to not be informed nor involved in the conversation before a public project is approved. EPNI is working quickly to plan a response and to ensure the community will be involved from this point forward.
