If you live in the Springfield area and have experienced major damage to your business property, and find yourself uninsured or underinsured, we encourage you to complete this survey to assist the City in qualifying our area for future Federal assistance. The City is working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide aid to those in need. 
 
Please report if major damage occurred and if uninsured/underinsured, such as for loss of a tree, or a tree falling on your property and damaging the building, fence or any other items causing major damage equating to 40% of structure and/or contents. Food losses from a power outage will not qualify unless it is part of a renter’s underinsured major content loss.
