Help us learn more about why and how women decide to donate their eggs!
We are seeking volunteers to complete a brief, 15-20 minute survey that will help us better understand how women see themselves in connection with egg donation. You do not need to have donated, or have ever even thought about donating to help us with this survey. And even if you have donated eggs, we would love to hear from you!
While there is some research about the health risks associated with egg donation and donors satisfaction with the process, very little is known about why women consider donating their eggs, how they make the decision to donate or not, what information they would like to have about the process, and what factors they take into consideration as they decide. This survey is intended to collect and share that information, so that we can better understand what motivates women to donate eggs and what they need throughout the process.
The survey is completely anonymous, and there are no costs or personal benefits to you for participating. If you complete and submit the survey, we will assume that we have your permission to use the information in a research study about egg donation.
This survey is being conducted by Laura Mamo at the Health Equity Institute (HEI) at San Francisco State University and Sujatha Jesudason, the Executive Director at Generations Ahead. HEI and Generations Ahead are both organizations that use action-oriented work through research, academia, and policy to advocate for inclusion and accessibility within the health care system. The information from this survey will be shared through publications and on their organizational websites.
If you have any questions about this study, please contact Laura Mamo (firstname.lastname@example.org or 415-338-6946) or Sujatha Jesudason (email@example.com). Thank you for your help and your time.
