Section I Nominator Information
The American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN) is pleased to offer this award to pay special tribute to a registered nurse who exemplifies excellence in providing care to heart failure patients. This nurse dedicates their professional development to improving their knowledge and skill within heart failure thereby allowing them to have a stronger voice to influence the direct care of heart failure patients. The recipient of this award may practice at the bedside, in the clinic setting, as a navigator or coordinator, and across transitions of care.
