Lived Experience Workforce Conference
8th & 9th May Victoria Park, Herston Brisbane

Brook RED is pleased to announce that we have received funding from the National Mental Health Commission to support Lived Experience Champions from each State to attend Dialogue 2019. 

This funding includes registration fees, flights and accommodation for the event for one individual from each Australian State.  This event is taking place on 8th & 9th May at Victoria Park Function Rooms, Herston, Brisbane, Queensland.

Nominations are welcome from any lived experience workers in Australia who are employed in a mental health peer work role which requires you use your lived experience of recovery actively in your work - to apply for a scholarship to attend and participate at this event.

Terms and conditions
Applicants from each State can apply for conference registration, travel costs and accommodation costs.

Applicants must be available to attend both days of the conference in Brisbane 8th & 9th May 2019.

Funding is intended solely for reimbursement of registration, travel and accommodation in relation to the conference event only, not for any other unrelated expenses.

Exclusions:
Other associated costs not covered by the scholarship funds will be the responsibility of the applicant. 

Employees within the Primary Care and NGO’s sector will be given priority to the scholarships.

Applications close at 5:00pm on Tuesday 23rd April 2019.
