Town Teams are positive and proactive community groups that are open to businesses, landowners, and residents. They work collaboratively with their local government to improve a place or area. They are catalysts for positive change and are focused on building relationships and practical actions to progress their area.
 
CoLocal is a Wyndham based not for profit specifically created to connect community and local organisations around local projects and initiatives that build social capital and local economy. One of the most notable projects of our Community Led projects is the Point Cook Pop Up Park.

Recently, with the support of Wyndham City Council, CoLocal entered a collaboration with Town Teams Movement to promote growing the Movement within Victorian-based projects. The launch of Town Team Tarneit will be the first of its kind in Victoria.
 
We are looking for local businesses, leaders, and groups to build the foundations of town teams who work to build vibrancy, social connection and support local economic activity.
 
The main requirement to join Town Team Tarneit is being passionate about creating better neighbourhoods and having the time and energy to commit! The Town Team Charter is the foundation of the movement and acts as a guide to support motivated and committed community members.
