The Parish Council is keen to understand how residents across Purton would like the empty space at Dogridge Estate to be used, and whether they would support investment in facilities that could benefit the whole community. The space would be open to all residents.
Venture Play Park once occupied this space but it closed when the Council's groundsmen were no longer able to access it. This issue has now been resolved. Wiltshire Council have asked the Parish Council if they would like to take ownership of the land under the asset transfer process.
This is initial consultation to establish how residents would like to use the space. If there is demand the Parish Council wil cost the suggested facilities, identify funding sources and carry out further consultation.
The survey should take around 3 minutes to complete and will help shape the future of community facilities at the upper end of the village.
