2026 GPA Privacy and Human Rights Award Nomination Form

About the Award

The Global Privacy Assembly (GPA) is launching its second edition of the Privacy and Human Rights Award. This is an international award, in collaboration with Access Now, the global human rights organization, to celebrate exemplary work to protect and promote privacy and other fundamental rights. The Privacy and Human Rights Award, developed by the GPA’s Data Protection and Other Rights and Freedoms Working Group, will recognize organizations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership or initiative at the international, state, or regional level in the fields of privacy or data protection as well as human rights.

To submit an entry for the Privacy and Human Rights Award, please complete and submit this form no later than 11:59 pm EDT, December 10, 2025. Nomination forms must be submitted in English. Please note that if you are unable to submit the nomination form in English, please send an email to the GPA Secretariat at secretariat@globalprivacyassembly.com.

- research and reporting that focuses upon the intersection of privacy, data protection, and other human rights;

- advocacy work at the state, regional or international level to highlight privacy and data protection issues as relate to the expression of other human rights.
