Girls for Gender Equity is pleased to partner with Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and the New York City Council for the launch of the Young Women’s Initiative, a multiplatform coalition aimed at supporting young women in New York City and combating chronic racial and gender inequality in outcomes when it comes to healthcare, education, involvement in the justice system and economic development for [cis and trans] girls of color between the ages of 12-24. Please fill out this survey if you are interested in hosting events or supporting the work of the Young Women's Initiative in some other way.
