All LMHPCO / HCLA  2018 Spring Area Code / Regional meetings will be held from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.
The first hour will be devoted to a continuing education session and the second portion of the meeting will be a "Listening Tour".

Is your agency in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act? This presentation is designed to clarify the new rules, the existing rules and other issues under the FLSA that are relevant in home care and hospice, including joint employment, hours worked,  travel time and exemptions.

Presentation Objectives
- Understand the FLSA new rules that have changed
- Understand the existing rules and other FLSA issues that are relevant in home care and hospice
Understand how to avoid sanctions and prosecutiion

LMHPCO is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the LSBN. CE Provider Number 46. This program is approved for 1 hour continuing education for nurses.

LMHPCO (SWB 12003) is approved as a provider of Continuing education by the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists. Approval Period: 5/1/2019. Social Workers will receive 1 hour General continuing education clock hour in participating in this course. 

This program was approved for 1.0 General contact hour(s) of continuing education credit by the National Association of Social Workers—Louisiana Chapter as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.

Chaplains and General attendees will receive certificates for each contact hour in attendance.
