Service-Learning Community Partner Information Form

At Chaminade University, Service-Learning (S-L) partnerships link academic coursework with real-world issues. In a typical S-L course, the professor identifies the types of service that will allow students to apply the lessons from that classroom. The students' service experience should deepen their understanding of the course content, and it should also meet the needs of the community.

Students are graded on the academic content they have mastered as a result of the service.

As such, we strive to craft each S-L partnership so that it is truly beneficial to the community AND to the students in the particular course.
