- Providing high-quality mixed-use development along the Route 1 Corridor.
- Providing a pedestrian-friendly environment that is a safe and enjoyable place to walk.
- Developing design standards and guidelines for achieving high-quality development and improving the form and character of development along the corridor.
- Supporting a quality urban design framework.
- Eliminating substandard, marginal uses and properties, along the Route 1 Corridor that need major structural repair and/or promote an unsafe, low-quality setting.
We will also be looking at different examples of commercial corridor revitalization across the country through various case studies and interviews to inform the guidelines and recommendations for this study.
To ensure that those who live, work, worship, go to school, and do business in the corridor and adjacent neighborhoods are included in the process please complete the survey below.
