City of Royal Oak - Fifth Street Plaza

Project purpose: To “reimagine” how Fifth Street (between Lafayette Avenue, Washington Avenue and Center Street) could be redeveloped to function to a more pedestrian space versus a vehicular zone. Fifth Street is closed between Washington and Center Streets to accommodate temporary outdoor service areas for hospitality businesses in the vicinity. The purpose of this survey is to garner public input in the earliest stages on the potential uses and elements that are deemed important in shaping the direction of this reimagined space.
