Inspired by the documentary "Join or Die," available now on Netflix, I am working to form a Rotary Club in Republic, the largest town in southern Missouri without a Rotary Club. (https://www.rotary.org/en).

The first step was taken on Oct. 28 when I met with the District Governor of Rotary. A second meeting in December resulted in the Downtown Rotary Club of Springfield (over 100 years old) agreeing to sponsor a new club in Republic! I gathered community input next and starting in March our goal will be to enlist at least 20 charter members.
