Join us for our 25th year of Preventing Child Abuse & Neglect!
Roof Sit is a 3-day event that raises awareness and money to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect in Southwest Michigan. Community Healing Centers offers compassionate, specialized care for children who are victims of sexual or physical abuse. We provide a variety of specialized programs, individual counseling for child victims and their non-offending family members, family therapy, and support groups for parents. Children in therapy learn to deal with the anger, shame and guilt often associated with being a victim of abuse, and can access our services at no cost, for life!
Roof Sit receives support from community volunteers in many ways! Raise money by gathering friends, family, or coworkers and form a Tips for Kids team. Tips for Kids teams choose one of our local participating Shell stations, and wash windshields and pump gas for tips. Volunteers are also needed at the Roof Sit site (corner of S. Westnedge and Milham) to spin signs, do Bucket Brigade, and gather donations.
