Dear Rochester School District Parents/Guardians,

Right At School, a nationally recognized tuition-based before and after-school enrichment provider, has approached us to offer their “Right Club” program on-site at our elementary schools next year. This would provide a safe learning environment and enriching programs for children before and after school. The "Right Club" program would be scheduled every day from the time school ends until 6:30pm. After a snack and fun fitness activities, students complete their homework and then have an afternoon of meaningful curriculum based enrichment activities through sports, games, arts and crafts and much more. The after-school program would cost families ~$77 per week per child (or less, if fewer days than five were selected.).  There is also a sibling discount of 10% off the second child, and a 20% discount for families that qualify for free or reduced meals. We would also accept State subsidy (DSHS) and Child Care Aware. Please note: this program would be in addition to the Boys and Girls Club and ROOF Center programs. This program would not impact our after school intervention programs such as Pioneer and Explorer Academy. Also, our Right At School programs are located on school campuses and families would pick them up, no transportation provided.

Right At School also offers one-hour specialty classes (such as chess, foreign language, arts, music, coding etc.) for parents who may want additional enrichment activities for their children.

After seeing presentations about this program, our Superintendent believes that this may be a valuable opportunity for our students and parents. This survey will help us gauge parents’ interest in this after school program at our elementary schools. Fees are approximately $77 per week for five days until 6:30 PM, $70 for four days per week, $58 for three days per week, $43 for two days per week, and $23 for one day per week.

Daily combined before and after school pricing will be available (~$99 per week for 5 combined days).

* 7. In addition to our "Right Club" before and after-school program, Right At School also offers one-hour specialty classes for those families looking for shorter programs. These are ten to twelve week classes offered by community partners in such areas as chess, martial arts, music, foreign languages, etc. Costs for these specialty classes tend to be ~$150 - $200 per ten-week session.
