Introduction

SafeLives has been commissioned by the Home Office to explore the use of needs and risk assessments by multi-agency practitioners in relation to domestic abuse.

For this survey:

‘Risk assessment’ refers to structured approaches used to identify the likelihood or severity of domestic abuse.
‘Needs assessment’ refers to structured approaches used to identify practical, emotional, health, wellbeing or support needs arising from domestic abuse.

When answering the survey questions, please consider and include any structured assessment tools, forms or frameworks you use in your work with people affected by domestic abuse, even if they are not specifically labelled as “domestic abuse” tools.

This survey should take no longer than 5 – 10 minutes to complete.

By completing this survey, you consent for your anonymised data to be used in reporting to the Home Office.
