Customers (Passengers) with Disabilities
Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey on accessibility. Your feedback is important to us. We are committed to providing accessible transportation services and removing barriers for persons with disabilities. This survey is part of our Accessible Transportation Planning and Reporting obligations under the Accessible Canada Act and the Accessible Transportation Planning and Reporting Regulations (ATPRR).
Your feedback helps us identify, remove, and prevent barriers and will be used to inform our accessibility plan and progress reports. Participation is voluntary. You may respond anonymously, and your answers will not affect your access to services.
If you prefer to share your feedback in another form, please contact Kristi Knight at kknight@riseair.ca, or Michel Farrugia at mfarrugia@riseair.ca
Before you begin, here are some important definitions as set out in the Act.
Disability - any impairment, including a physical, mental, intellectual, cognitive, learning, communication or sensory impairment - or a functional limitation - whether permanent, temporary or episodic in nature, or evident or not, that, in interaction with a barrier, hinders a person's full and equal participation in society.
Accessibility Barriers - anything, including anything physical, architectural, technological or attitudinal, anything that is based on information or communications or anything that is the result of a policy or a practice that hinders the full and equal participation in society of persons with an impairment, including a physical, mental, intellectual, cognitive, learning, communication or sensory impairment or a functional limitation.
