1. Welcome

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Based on the number of Award Applications for 2013, VA SPQA has already received enough Examiner applications to address the need. Returning Examiners who apply after November 6, 2012 are welcome to do so and become a part of the pool of experienced Examiners able to lend their expertise in evaluating Discovery Program submissions as they present themselves throughout the year.

The Discovery Program is a year around effort and the examination effort is less intense. Examiners can learn more by visiting the Discovery Program page on the web site. Like the Awards Program, VA SPQA does not know how many Discovery submissions will be recieved in 2013. If you wish to be part of the Discovery Examiner pool, please proceed and only indicate your interest in Discovery (see question 6). Naturally, because the timeline for Discovery is less clear than the Award Program, those in the pool are committed subject to their availability to support a particular submission. One aspect of the Discovery Program is Examiners do not have to attend Examiner training in January.

If you can't be considered for Discovery, we appreciate your interest and please come back next year.

It you would like to be part of the Discovery Examiner pool, then please continue.

Thank you,

Virginia SPQA
