Maitland Property Owner and Agent Survey

Introduction

This survey has been put together by Renew Australia as part of a scoping study on commercial property vacancies and activation strategies in Central and East Maitland, and the Rutherford Industrial Park. The survey is focused on collecting feedback from owners and agents who own or manage commercial space in these areas.

Other areas will be considered as part of the scoping study. If you have properties outside of these locations, we welcome your input and feedback.

About Renew Australia:

Renew Australia work with owners and agents to temporarily fill vacant spaces and properties with suitable projects and participants while they are waiting to be leased or sold. Renew Australia co-ordinates the moving in process while you and your agent continue to promote the property on the market for lease or sale - showing interested parties through an activated space rather than an empty space.

When a commercial tenant or purchaser is found you give Renew Australia 30 days notice and we vacate the participant or project from your property.

Key benefits to property owners:
- Your building is being looked after, which will help to minimise grafitti and vandalism to your property.
- There is no cost to participate. All utilities, such as water and electricity usage, while in the program is covered by the participant in your space.
- Public liability and broken glass insurance is provided for the property by Renew Australia for the period your property is in the program, which in some cases can reduce your insurance premiums.

Should you have any questions in regard to this survey please contact Renew Australia and our staff will be happy to discuss the survey further with you.
