Renew Australia created this survey to collect feedback from Chapel Street property representatives. Your local insights, experience and opinions will help to gauge interest in longer-term activation strategies to reduce commercial property vacancies and improve main street vibrancy in the Chapel Street precinct. 
 
About Renew Australia:
Renew Australia works with owners and agents to temporarily fill vacant spaces and properties with suitable projects and participants while they are waiting to be leased or sold. Renew Australia co-ordinates the moving-in process while you and your agent continue to promote the property on the market for lease or sale - showing interested parties through an activated space rather than an empty space.
 
Renew Activation Projects:
When a commercial tenant or purchaser is found, Renew Australia requires 30-days notice to vacate the participant or project from your property.

Key benefits to property owners and agents:
  • The for lease or sale signs stay up, and the agent continues to promote the property to potential long term paying tenants
  • Renew Australia provides public liability and broken glass insurance for the property
  • The participants pay for utilities and look after the property
  • The property is open, engaging, and cared for.
  • Reduced vandalism, increased property appeal, and increased appeal of property to potential long-term tenants
  • Activated spaces bring people and energy into an area making it more appealing to prospective tenants
