Michigan Business Regulatory Reform Feedback

As part of the partnership between the Detroit Regional Chamber and the Michigan House Republicans, we are requesting your input on a significant regulatory reform package. Michigan businesses are burdened by red tape, either through excessive paperwork, unnecessary certifications, or any other hoop that slows down the economy. The way Michigan does business is significantly slower than surrounding states, and it is costing us growth opportunities.

2.Are there any certifications you believe are unnecessary for your business? Please explain.
3.Do you have to report the same information to multiple departments or both state and federal departments? If so, please specify.
4.What fees do you find unnecessary or overly burdensome for your business?
5.Can you suggest any specific steps or processes that could be improved to speed up your business operations in Michigan?
6.How would you rate the overall regulatory environment for businesses in Michigan?(Required.)
7.How does Michigan's regulatory environment compare to surrounding states?(Required.)
8.Please provide an email address so we can contact you if we have further questions. Your information will be kept confidential and will only be used by the Detroit Regional Chamber.(Required.)
