2026 Government Red Tape Survey

The Surrey & White Rock Board of Trade is committed to identifying and reducing red tape, defined as unnecessary rules, procedures, or delays that create avoidable costs and barriers for businesses, residents, and economic growth. Regulatory compliance refers to the time and effort required to meet government requirements, such as permits, licences, reporting, taxes, and other regulations.

This survey focuses primarily on municipal processes in Surrey and White Rock, while also examining provincial and federal requirements that impact our communities. Your feedback will help identify opportunities to improve government services, reduce administrative burdens, and create a more competitive environment for businesses, residents, and investment.
