Performer Application 2016

Thank you for applying to Rally Rumble & Rhinestones! We are seeking rising musicians who want to perform for a crowd and help end childhood cancer by raising awareness and funds for the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research. We hope you will join us as we come together to have fun, enjoy music and  help save kids with cancer. 

Details:

1. Our new venue is M Street’s "Rosewall " in the Gulch.

2. New hours: 6:00pm - 10:30pm. 

3. Our advertising this year will bring a packed crowd;  we are sending out 2000 INVITATIONS and putting the message up on a DOWNTOWN BILLBOARD. 

4. The contest for fundraising ends May 26 so that we can list the singer/songwriters in our program.  There will be only be time for 6 rising singer/songwriters. You'll be able to start collecting donations as soon as we accept your application. Line up will be announced on May 28.

5. The singer/songwriter who raises the most funds for Rally will be given first choice from several assorted prizes.  The six singer/spngwriters who collect the most donations will  be paired with an award winning songwriter for one hour in our evening performance, (two rising songwriters on stage in the round style with one famous songwriter for three, one-hour blocks.)  The award winning songwriters are Jim Collins, Gordon Kennedy and Rivers Rutherford.

* 8. Each participant honors a Rally Kid, a child who has battled or is battling cancer and registered with the Rally Foundation. The connections between performers and their Rally Kids is part of what makes Rally Rumble and Rhinestones so special. You may choose to honor any child who you know who has battled cancer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the ____________________________ (name of performer or band) hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Rally Foundation, its officials, agents and employees, against all injuries, deaths, loss, damages, claims, suits, liabilities judgments, cost and expenses. By signing below, I certify that I understand and agree that the Rally Foundation may use my name, picture and/or portrait (video or still) for public relations, public information, Rally Rumble promotion, publicity, or other similar uses on the Rally Foundation website or in other material published by the Rally Foundation. I also understand and agree that no monetary consideration shall be paid in exchange for the above use. My consent and release have been given without coercion or duress. This agreement is binding upon my heirs and/or future legal representatives. The photo, video, or statements may be used by the Rally Foundation on its web site as well as other venues in any lawful manner. All negatives, positives, video or audio tapes, electronic files, together with any prints shall constitute the property of the Rally Foundation. I hereby release, discharge and save harmless the Rally Foundation, the photographers and web designer, their representatives, assigns, employees, or any person or corporation acting under the permission of the above named, including any firm publishing or distributing the finished product. I hereby waive any right to approve the finished photograph or any copy which might be used in conjunction with the finished photograph or video. If I am below the age of 18, the agreement has been signed and approved by my parent or guardian as well. We will have each band member or parent or legal guardian sign the release forms once participants have been chosen to perform in Rally Rumble & Rhinestones.
