Raleigh County Comprehensive Plan Youth Survey

People plan in their everyday lives. They plan for the day, what they are going to wear, and what they are going to eat for dinner. People also plan for the future, whether it be vacation or retirement. Raleigh County is also planning for its future by developing a comprehensive plan. A comprehensive plan will help Raleigh County decide what its future will look like for those that want to live, work, and attend school here.

The comprehensive plan is a ten‐year guide that directs the county’s growth. This includes land use, development, and other projects. Input from everyone that lives in Raleigh County is important to writing the comprehensive plan, including YOU! The county wants to hear from the youth in the community. This survey is geared towards high school and younger students, our next generation and future of the community.
