Membership Agreement

Please complete this application if you would like to become a member of YMCA Greater Wellington. These details will be kept for the purpose of informing you of General Meetings and other association matters which we think will be of interest to you.

These details will not be passed on to anyone else. Subject to restrictions in the Privacy Act, you have the right to have access to information held about you by the association and to have it corrected if it is not accurate.

You have the right to cancel your membership at any time by sending an email to membership@ymcawellington.org.nz

* 1. Programmes and activities carried out at least monthly and ongoing for six months or longer enable participants to become members of the Association.  Types of programmes and activities eligible are:

a) Exercise and lifestyle activities (e.g., gym, sports leagues, etc.)
b) Education activities (e.g., youth guarantee, before and after school care, holiday programmes, etc.)
c) Volunteering on committees, programmes and other activities 
d) Youth development programmes (e.g., Raise Up).
e) Social and activity based programmes within YMCA owned premises (e.g., Pilmuir community activities)
f) Representing the YMCA Greater Wellington in national and international YMCA activities.
