Hybrid AEMT Course Overview

Our Hybrid Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Course is designed to provide a flexible, high-quality pathway into emergency medical services while maintaining the rigor and hands-on experience required to succeed in the field. The AEMT Course will begin on 2 November 2026. This program blends structured online learning with in-person training, allowing you to build a strong knowledge foundation on your own schedule and then apply it through practical skills sessions, simulations, and scenario-based training.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to assess patients, manage medical and traumatic emergencies, and make critical decisions in high-pressure environments. Our focus goes beyond simply passing a test! We prepare you to function as a competent, confident AEMT from day one on the ambulance.

Schedule:

Monday Evenings: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (weekly in-person sessions)
Select Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (hands-on skills and scenario days)
  • The Saturday sessions are essential for skill development and cannot be missed, as they focus on applying what you’ve learned in realistic, hands-on environments.
Saturdays Class Dates will be:
  • 21 November 2026
  • 19 December 2026
  • 16 January 2027
  • 30 January 2027
  • 6 February 2027
National Registry Testing will take place: (Tenatively) 12 February 2027

Hybrid AEMT Course Application Instructions

Thank you for your interest in our Hybrid AEMT Program. We’re excited you’re considering taking this next step into advancing your emergency medical services career. To apply, please complete the full application packet and submit all required materials by the posted deadline. Be sure all information is accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Applications that are incomplete may not be considered.

Once your application is reviewed, selected candidates may be invited to participate in the course entry testing and interview as part of the selection process. This allows us to better understand your commitment, professionalism, and readiness for the demands of the program.

Please note: Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the course. This is a competitive program, and applicants are selected based on a combination of qualifications, preparedness, and overall fit. We encourage you to put your best foot forward and take the application process seriously. This is your first step into advancing your capabilities in a professional career field where standards matter.

We will begin informing preliminarily selected candidates about interviews on 11 September 2026. Interviews will be available until 30 September 2026. Final selection and decision notifications will be made on 2 October 2026 at which time you will be notified via email.

Application Requirements:
As part of the application process, applicants must upload clear and current copies of their EMT certification, valid driver’s license, and current CPR certification card. Applicants must also submit a letter of recommendation from a current supervisor, agency chief officer, or other appropriate organizational leader who can speak to the applicant’s professionalism, reliability, clinical performance, and readiness for Advanced EMT education. All required documentation must be uploaded before the application can be considered complete.
