The Village of Steep Bank West has a contested Village Representative (Village Rep/VR) election - meaning, there are more candidates than open positions in 2025. This ballot is for the village of Steep Bank West. There are no paper ballots for this election, all votes are electronic. There are two (2) open VR positions within Bees Creek.

  • Please vote for only two (2) candidates. If you inadvertently vote for all three candidates, your vote will be considered invalid by the Election Committee.
  • Only one (1) vote per property address is allowed; if more than one ballot is submitted per property, the last ballot submitted will be tallied.
  • Election period runs through November 4. Results will be announced at the Combined Sienna Community Association and Sienna Residential Association Annual Meeting on November 11.

Dr. John R. "Rusty" Brooks - (I) have served as a VR for 16 years. I am willing to serve again. Retired 50+ years as a Business College Professor.

Dr. Brooks has lived in Sienna 20 years. He is a current Association volunteer, serving as a Village Rep and has served as Village Rep previously. He has not attended a Board meeting in the last 2 years. He has attended 1 Annual Meeting in the last 2 years.


Michael Jackson - In 2022, my father gave me his SBW home that he lived in since 1998. I knew I’d never move from this house and after his passing in 2023, that feeling led me to want to help make to be a SBW village representative to advocate for my neighbors’ needs, gain representation in local decision-making, improve my community, and have opportunities for civic engagement. By serving as a representative, I can voice concerns, participate in meetings, and influence policies that impact SBW, fostering a stronger, more responsive community.

Mr. Jackson has lived in Sienna 3 years. His not a current Association volunteer and has not served previously. He has not attended a Board meeting in the last 2 years. He has not attended an Annual Meeting in the last 2 years.


William Michie, Jr. - To become more knowledgeable about Sienna issues and to inform others of the issues. I have been active in the Sienna MUD 2 disposition, in attending Missouri City, City Council meetings, and attending LID meetings.

Mr. Michie has lived in Sienna 24 years. He is not a current Association volunteer and has not served previously. He has not attended a Board meeting in the last 2 years. He has not attended an Annual Meeting in the last 2 years.
