Potentia is very excited to begin offering support around Perinatal Mental Health!

This area of speciality is focused on women who are pregnant, women and couples trying to become pregnant, those who have recently had a baby and are in the “4th Trimester” or who have recently experienced a pregnancy loss or stillbirth.

Perinatal mental health includes concerns many women (and men) experience around  feelings of sadness, worry, irrational fears, insomnia, or anxiety during the pregnancy period or after the birth of a child. They may be afraid to voice their true feelings during what “should be” a happy time in life and have difficulty adjusting to this new season. For many, this can lead to depression, anxiety, and partner relationship challenges.

As we begin to offer support in this area, we’d like to collect feedback from our community about what you would find most valuable. If you are not in this season of life but know someone who is, we’re grateful for your consideration to forward this survey along to help us collect information.
