ADMISSION OFFICE LEADERSHIP INTERN OPPORTUNITIES:
In 2018-2019, the Admission Office is seeking 3-5 Admission Interns who will be student leaders in our office and support the Admission Office in a multitude of ways, including but not limited to, assisting with admission events on and off campus, creating a Student Ambassador directory, recruiting student ambassadors to assist with Admission Office initiatives, facilitating prospective student visits, engaging with prospective students and families, giving tours, sharing, through social media outlets, first hand experiences of what it is like to be a student at Cannon School and assisting the Admission Office with day to day needs throughout the year. The Admission Office Interns will work closely with the Director of Admission, Associate Directors of Admission and Admission Assistant throughout the year. The commitment is approximately 3-6 hours per month. Interns will learn how our office works, lend the office needed support and share their student voice and insight throughout the year.
If you are interested in applying for one of the Admission Office Intern opportunities, please submit the following statement via email to Mrs. Weinstock (kweinstock@cannonschool.org) or hand deliver it to the Admission Office by
Monday, April 30, 2018:
A statement (1-4 paragrahps) addressing why you would like to intern in the Admission Office and what personal qualities, characteristics and experiences make you a good intern candidate.
I wish to be considered for an Admission Office intern position and plan to submit the above requested statement to Mrs. Weinstock by the deadline of Monday, April 30, 2018.
I do not plan to apply for an Admission Office intern position, but wish to be an active 2018-2019 Student Ambassador.
