About the ALIA LISWAC Workforce Survey

Organisations should nominate ONE person to complete this survey on behalf of their institution.

This survey is being conducted by ALIA under the guidance of ALIA's cross-sectoral LIS Workforce Advisory Committee (LISWAC). The survey will help ALIA identify trends, changes and opportunities in Australia's LIS workforce.
Key insights from the research will be published in various formats, supporting the sector with strategic and workforce planning. The results will also inform ALIA's work and strategic priorities. Please note that written responses provided may be reproduced in the report, identified at sector level.

The survey will take about 10 minutes of your time depending on your answers. Please note that throughout the survey we refer to library and information services as LIS. Whenever the survey refers to staff in the organisation, it is only referring to staff employed in LIS.
