The Beloit Transit System (BTS) is a recipient of funding through the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is required to have a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)* Program that meets the requirements of CFR Title 49: Part 26.  BTS is currently developing a methodology to establish a DBE goal for FY20-22 in an effort to create a level playing field in which certified DBEs can complete fairly for DOT-assisted contracts.
