School Information

The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a federal program that provides funding to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for students in participating elementary schools during the school day. The goal is to provide healthier food choices, expand the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience and increase their fruit and vegetable consumption.
 
For selection, a school must:
 
  1. Participate in the National School Lunch Program;
  2. Be an elementary school;
  3. Represent the highest percentage of students certified for free and reduced-price benefits and
  4. Complete the following application.
