Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land where this survey was created. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of all the lands now known as “Western Australia”, and pay respects to Elders past and present. We recognise their ongoing connection to country, culture, and community. This land was taken without consent, with no treaties signed, and sovereignty was never ceded.
The fight for justice, truth, and self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples continues today. This includes Brotherboys and Sistergirls, whose identities, cultures, and voices remain a vital part of community strength and resilience.
