Help Shape Future Policies and Funding for Children & Youth Experiencing Homelessness

Hello! Now more than ever, we need your insights on dedicated funding for students experiencing homelessness.

Some Congressional leaders have stated their intent to slash federal funding for education, and eliminate many federal education programs next year.

In past years, responses to SHC’s national homeless education survey helped us make the case to Congress for increased flexible funding for children and youth experiencing homelessness through ARP-HCY.

Now, we need information to protect current funding and the McKinney-Vento program itself.

We're asking school district liaisons, or those who fulfill those duties, to complete a 10-minute survey to help guide future funding for students experiencing homelessness.

If you’ve already completed the survey, we thank you! We’d be grateful if you could also share it with others.

We’ll use the information to help educate the new Congress and the public about the impact of dedicated funding for homeless students through ARP-HCY funds, and why dedicated education funding for students experiencing homelessness must be preserved and increased.

Individual responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared unless you provide SHC explicit permission.

Estimated time to complete this survey: 10 minutes

We thank you in advance for your participation. Please contact Leconte Lee if you have any questions.
