What is Legislative Advocacy?

Legislative advocacy is working with individual lawmakers and lawmaking bodies to gain support for your cause or initiative, for the needs of a specific population, for an organization or group of organizations, or for specific services.

If you are interested in being a Legislative Advocate for LO Schools, you would be asked to attend occasional meetings of the LO Legislative Advocacy Committee and take on certain responsibilities based on your preferences indicated in the survey questions below.
