2024 Randy Vaughan Founder's Award Application

 

Thank you for applying for the Randy Vaughan Award through the NSCA Education Foundation.  Complete and submit the application below by Dec. 15, 2023. Winners will be notified by Jan. 12, 2024. Travel and accommodation expenses will be the responsibility of the award winner. 
 
Requirements
  • Currently employed by an industry-recognized commercial electronic systems integration company.
  • Must be in a management or decision-making role within the company.
  • Must be recommended by the owner or president of the company, if not currently in that position.
  • Must be a first-time attendee of the NSCA Business & Leadership Conference.

Application Procedures
  • The application must be filled out completely to be considered for an award.
    • NOTE:  Due to the amount of submissions for this award, all incomplete applications will be returned unprocessed; there are no exceptions for late or incomplete applications.
  • Two letters of recommendation must be submitted with application and can be from your employer, manager, colleague co-worker or client on company letterhead.  These can be emailed to Teresa Solorio at tsolorio@nsca.org.
  • Applications must be received by December 15, 2023.

Selection Process
Awards will be given on a competitive basis to qualified applicants. A judging panel composed of the NSCA Education Foundation Board will select award recipients based upon the following: presentation of application, work experience and strength of letters of recommendation. Applications and supporting documentation become property of the NCSA Education Foundation and will not be returned to the applicant.

 Award Procedures
  • Applicants will be notified of their award status no later than January 12, 2024.
  • Awards are distributed once an acknowledgment or thank-you letter has been received from the recipient.
  • Award will cover the registration fee to attend NSCA’s BLC 2024 in Irving, TX, from Feb. 27 – Feb 29th.
  • Travel and accommodation expenses will be the responsibility of the award winner.
