Spring 2018 Cohort Application
Hi! I'm Running for Office convenes graduate students from Harvard Kennedy School and undergraduates from Harvard College for 8 sessions focused on running for office and governing. Led by Massachusetts State Senator and Harvard alumnus (AB ’07, JD ’15 ) Eric Lesser, the program will examine the political DNA of this generation, study the unique obstacles young people face when they run for office, and closely analyze specific policy areas where emerging elected officials are making a difference.
Hi! I'm Running for Office is open to Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Kennedy School/Harvard Law School joint degree, and Harvard College students ONLY. 10 students from Harvard College and 10 students from Harvard Kennedy School will be selected to participate. One joint degree Harvard Kennedy School/Harvard Law School student will be selected to participate. Sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15 p.m. on the HKS campus. (Please see specific dates below). Cohort members will be expected to attend all 8 sessions.

Hi! I'm Running for Office is a collaborative effort between the Center for Public Leadership and the Institute of Politics.
Application deadline is Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. All applicants will be notified of their application status by Friday, February 2, 2018.
