You must first complete an application and submit the required fee to the New Mexico State Library within the allotted time-frame before registering. For more information on this process, please visit the New Mexico State Library's website.

If you have not completed and mailed your application and fee within the allotted time-frame (April 1, 2017 through April 17, 2017), DO NOT register for this certification study session. You will need to wait for the next quarter to submit your application/fee and to register for the corresponding study session. NOTE: Application and fee must be mailed and postmarked on or before April 17, 2017.

A week or so prior to the study session, you will receive an email with further information. Note: There is a lot of information to cover, and as such we will have a working lunch. Feel free to bring your lunch and snacks with you. This will be a very informal study session with a lot of discussion.

Please begin preparing for the study session using the Library Foundations guide as well as other outside materials you find useful. It is highly encouraged to seek multiple resources when preparing to take the librarianship certification exam.
