Many organisations are finding that there is a reduced supply of volunteers due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.  In this practical and interactive online training, we will consider how your organisation can adapt to the changing context and recruit the right volunteers to continue delivering vital services.  We will look at what might currently motivate people to volunteer, adapting or framing roles to be more attractive to potential volunteers, reducing barriers, offering more development opportunities and exploring different recruitment methods/channels for advertising your volunteer opportunities.  This session is suitable for experienced Volunteer Managers as well as those who are new to managing volunteers. 
Venue: Zoom.  If you are allocated a place, you will be sent a Zoom link to access the training.  Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and have downloaded the latest version of Zoom (https://zoom.us/download). 
*Cost:
Our training programme is funded by the City Bridge Foundation.   
·       The session is FREE to voluntary sector and public sector organisations with a base/office in Tower Hamlets, or that have services aimed in Tower Hamlets residents.  However, there is a non-attendance charge of £50 and this charge will be invoiced to your organisation if you do not attend without giving 48 hours’ notice. There is no charge incurred if bookings are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the start of the session.
·       For any organisation without a base or services in Tower Hamlets, or private sector/commercial organisations, the session costs £50 per person.   The fee is non-refundable, unless you give 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.
