Best practice chronic pain management and assessment for occupational therapists

This two-day interactive workshop will demonstrate how to teach pain neuroscience to clients and use this education to frame treatment direction. Three dynamic instructors who have developed custom pain programs will highlight the unique role of occupational therapy in pain rehabilitation utilizing the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement (CMOP-E; Polatajko, Townsend, & Craik, 2007). The format includes workbook and small group activities.
