2025/26 Reading Schools – Process Survey

2.About you

Reading Schools is a programme that aims to help schools to build and sustain a reading culture. We want to find out about your experience of Reading Schools and the process of being involved.

If you submit evidence for accreditation, Scottish Book Trust will send you an additional survey to complete, which will focus on the impact of Reading Schools for you and your pupils i.e. what has changed and the difference it has made.

We would like to hear from all schools engaged in the programme, whether you have just started to get involved or you are further along in your journey.

Taking part is completely voluntary, and your views will be reported anonymously. Researchers at Scottish Book Trust will be able to see your response, but the results will only be used for the purposes of the evaluation and report.

To thank you for participating in this survey, we would like to offer you the chance to win £100 in book tokens for your school, courtesy of Scottish Book Trust. If you would like to enter the prize draw, you will be redirected to the entry form at the end of this survey. The winner will be selected at random and will be informed by 30 September 2026 by email.

If you have any questions about the evaluation, please contact readingschools@scottishbooktrust.com
