Reading Schools is a programme that aims to help schools to build and sustain a reading culture. We want to find out about the difference that it has made to you and your pupils.

You have been asked to complete this survey, as your school has submitted evidence for accreditation. Please note, that you may also be invited to complete another survey, which explores your experience of taking part and the process of being involved. This survey focuses on the impact of Reading Schools.

Taking part is completely voluntary, and your views will be reported anonymously. Researchers at Scottish Book Trust will be able to see your response, but it will only be used for the purposes of the evaluation and report.

To thank you for participating in this survey, we would like to offer you the chance to win £100 in book tokens for your school, courtesy of Scottish Book Trust. If you would like to enter the prize draw, you will be redirected to the entry form at the end of this survey. The winner will be selected at random and will be informed by 30 September 2026 by email.
