For Parents of CFIS Students
The session for parents of students in KG to Grade 2 will start at 6:30 p.m., and will focus on providing parents with a better understanding of the progression of literacy and numeracy skills in young children. Following a short presentation in the Marcel Tremblay Learning Resource Centre by the leadership team, parents will be invited to attend break out sessions to see how they can further support their child at home in their development of their skills.
The session for parents of students in Grades 3 to 6 will start at 7:30 p.m., and will focus on providing parents with a better understanding of what homework looks like at CFIS and how parents can help support their child at home. Following a short presentation by the leadership team in the Marcel Tremblay, parents will be invited to participate in breakout sessions of their choice that will broaden their understanding of the tools that are being used as well as other strategies to reinforce learning at home.
